Stephanie Campbell is joining us for the 2021-2022 School Year from downstate as the new 1st Grade teacher. Stephanie spent the last two years teaching at an independent school in Southern Michigan working with students with learning differences. After a total of six years of teaching Early Childhood and Elementary Education in both independent and public schools, Stephanie and her husband are fulfilling a dream by moving to the Traverse City area. Stephanie has taught Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and in a 3rd/4th Grade mixed-age-group classroom. She is also a certified Children’s Yoga Instructor, and enjoys helping her students blend mindfulness into their everyday learning.

Stephanie is enthusiastic about teaching, and likes to bring calm in the chaos to help students come back to center by giving them a choice to help them slow-down. She is excited to be surrounded by nature and looks forward to incorporating the outdoors into her instruction as much as possible.
