Thank you for supporting the Pathfinder Parent Association flower SALE!
The sale begins April 23rd until it sells out. Flowers can be picked up on the Pathfinder campus Friday, May 16th after school. We have a lot of new items this year, so take your time shopping!
Flower Sale FAQs-
1) Anything new this year?
Yes! We’re offering “Garden Starter Kits” this year. The price point for the kits is more favorable than last year and it has a variety of veggies! We’ve also brought back a few plants that have not been available the past few years, and added some fun new colors of our favorites.
2) What is included in the “Garden Starter Kit“?
The kit includes the following-strawberries, cucumber, bell pepper, jalapeño pepper, zucchini, Swiss chard, supersweet cherry tomatoes, Heirloom Rainbow Tomatoes, marigolds, cosmos, basil.
3) I don't want to buy an entire flat of flowers or tomatos, just a portion. How can I do that?
This year we’ve broken up some flats into individual pots, half flats, etc. Plants may come in flats of 12 quarts, flats of 15- 4“ pot, or flats of 48 cells. Some are available in bowls, baskets, 1 gallon or 2 gallons, you are not required to buy a flat for these options. Each plant has the size and quantity information listed in the title and/or description.
4) I can't be there on Friday, May 16th for Pick Up. What should I do about collecting my plants?
We will leave the plants lined up on the soccer field (so they get hit by the sprinklers) for you to pick up that weekend, or early the next week at your convenience. You can also have a friend bring them home for you. Each order will be labeled with the purchaser's name. They won’t stay very fresh out in the elements on the soccer field, so pick them up as soon as you can!
5) How do I donate plants and other Spring Spruce up supplies to Pathfinder?
You will see a DONATE option on the Flower Sale Page. Click there and you will be directed to purchase in increments of $15, $30, $50 or $100. The donated funds will be used to purchase perennials, mulch, potting soil, and annuals for potting. These supplies will be used to beautify campus for the many year end events that take place. Planting volunteers will be needed the week of May 18th to create beautiful pots to place around campus for the various end of the year events.
6) Does your flower provider (Florigens Greenhouse) use neonicotinoid pesticides on their plants?
No. Florigens does not use neonicotinoid pesticides on their plants. While there may be other pesticides used to prevent the spread of harmful insects on their products, the class of neonicotinoids are not used.
