Flower Sale FAQs-

1) Anything new this year?

Yes! We’re proud to partner with Lakeview Hill Farm to offer some fun new organic options! Check out our “Garden Starter Kit”, our enhanced “Mixed Herb Kit” and our organic basil and mint. We’ve also brought back a few plants that have not been available the past few years.

2) What is included in the “Garden Starter Kit“ from Lakeview Hill Farm?

The kit includes 4" pots of the following-2 basil, 2 dill, 1 parsley, 1 cherry tomato, 2 green bean, 1 cosmos, 2 marigold, 2 lettuces. If you purchase 2 kits, it’s the perfect size for a 4'x4' bed.

3) I don't want to buy an entire flat of flowers or tomatos, just a portion. How can I do that?

This year we’ve broken up some flats into individual pots, half flats, etc. Plants may come in flats of 12 quarts, flats of 15- 4“ pot, or flats of 48 cells. Some are available in bowls, baskets, 1 gallon or 2 gallons, you are not required to buy a flat for these options. Each plant has the size and quantity information listed in the title and/or description.

4) I can't be there on Friday, May 17th for Pick Up. What should I do about collecting my plants?

We can leave the plants outside of the school's Main Office for you to pick up that weekend at our campus Spring Spruce up, or early the next week at your convenience. You can also have a friend bring them home for you. Each order will be labeled with the purchaser's name.

5) How do I donate plants and other Spring Spruce up supplies to Pathfinder?

You will see a DONATE option on the Flower Sale Page. Click there and you will be directed to purchase in increments of $15, $30, $50 or $100. The donated funds will be used to purchase perennials, mulch, potting soil, and annuals for potting. These supplies will be used to beautify campus for the many year end events that take place. Planting volunteers will be needed at Spring Spruce Up on Saturday, May 20th!

6) Does your flower provider (Florigens Greenhouse) use neonicotinoid pesticides on their plants?

No. Florigens does not use neonicotinoid pesticides on their plants. While there may be other pesticides used to prevent the spread of harmful insects on their products, the class of neonicotinoids are not used.
