Considering the developmental needs of early adolescents, the Middle School program at Pathfinder focuses on providing students many opportunities to explore learning in a variety of ways. From hands-on science and math projects, to active simulations in social studies, middle school students actively engage in learning, asking questions and writing reflections. Students engage in problem solving and critical thinking skills that discuss how meaning is made. Small class sizes assure individual student’s have daily opportunities to dialog with teachers and mentors. Students also have dynamic opportunities to develop social emotional skills that are key for success by working with students of all ages.
