Now universally known as 'Madame', Karen joined Pathfinder in 1999. Prior to that, Karen spent many years teaching French, Theater and Irish Dancing in a variety of environments. She continues to teach Irish Dancing at the Dance Arts in Traverse City and often incorporates her love of music, dance, play and creative expression into her teaching. Karen is also the Director of Education at the Unitarian Universalist Church on the Old Mission Peninsula.
Karen enjoys her busy life with three daughters and a husband who the little kids at Pathfinder call 'Mister Madame'. She remains involved in her parish and pursuing her love of writing.
