Ellen is one of the icons of Pathfinder. She first came to the school as a parent and board member, joining our staff in 1984. When alumni visit the campus, they go immediately to Ellen’s office to get caught up and to show her how far they’ve come. She is the connective tissue that ties the school’s past with its present and future. A fine writer, she has been a dedicated servant to the Pathfinder dream through nearly three decades. Ellen knows a great deal about the world of Grand Traverse and is a wonderful guide to the area, when she isn’t downstate visiting her sons, Willie and Toby, and their families.
